Executive Director, Operational Treasury Tenneco is a leading global designer, manufacturer, and marketer of automotive products for original equipment and aftermarket customers. Through our DRiV, Performance Solutions, Clean Air, and Powertrain groups, we advance global mobility by delivering innovative technology solutions for light vehicles, commercial trucks, off-highway, industrial, motorsport, and the aftermarket. We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Director, Operational Treasury. This role manages daily treasury operations, including cash management, hedging, and factoring. The successful candidate will ensure optimal treasury functions, support financial decision-making, and contribute to the company's financial health and growth. The position is based in Northville, MI, reporting directly to the CFO of Clean Air & Powertrain. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee daily treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting and liquidity management. Define and review hedging and risk strategies. Manage balance sheet forecasting in collaboration with regional and plant teams. Lead cash initiatives and M&A activities. Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures in cash management activities. Lead, mentor, and develop the treasury team, fostering high performance and continuous improvement. Develop and optimize systems and tools for treasury management and forecasting. Analyze financial market trends to identify risks and opportunities related to foreign exchange, interest rates, and commodities. Prepare and present treasury reports to senior management and the board. Collaborate with other departments on finance initiatives and projects. Participate in strategic planning and financial analysis. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or professional certifications (e.g., CTP, CFA) preferred. Skills: Experience with manufacturing operations required. Experience with FP&A required. Proven treasury leadership experience, preferably in a similar industry. Knowledge of working capital management tools like letters of credit, short-term financing, and factoring. Strong understanding of financial instruments, banking regulations, and complex financial management. Successful track record in developing and implementing treasury strategies. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in treasury management systems and advanced Excel skills. Experience with international treasury operations and currency risk management. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
