Collaborating with product and architecture teams to design and implement scalable, cloud-native backend solutions Defining and promoting best practices in backend service development, architecture, and deployment Mentoring backend engineers in building reliable, maintainable, and performant microservices Ensuring backend systems are secure, resilient, and optimized for high performance Coordinating with offshore backend development teams to ensure alignment and quality across distributed teams What You'll Be Doing:
Engaging in the full software development lifecycle: planning, requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment Developing and maintaining microservices and APIs using C#/.NET and modern architectural patterns Troubleshooting production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions Leading adoption of backend technologies and practices that drive performance and operational excellence Optimizing data access patterns, storage design, and performance for large-scale applications using MS SQL Server Using monitoring, logging, and metrics to maintain reliability and improve system health Driving backend architecture discussions with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and cloud efficiency What You'll Bring to the Table:
6+ years of experience in backend development using C#/.NET Core and modern architectural paradigms Strong experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices Solid knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services, preferably AWS Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized application deployments Proficient with MS SQL Server, query optimization, and data modeling Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Terraform Strong communication, documentation, and technical leadership skills Experience with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) is a plus AWS certifications or Kubernetes certifications are a plus $120,000 - $150,000 a year
