Role Description
We’re looking for a Wireless RF Engineer with broad-based expertise across RF architecture, design, integration, and manufacturing. The ideal candidate combines deep theoretical and practical knowledge in areas such as electromagnetic theory, RF and wireless circuit design, communication systems, and product design trade-offs. You’ll leverage electromagnetic and system simulations, hands‑on prototyping, and test and measurement tools to understand complex system and sub‑system interactions - translating insights into production‑ready designs that balance performance, reliability, and manufacturability at scale.
Responsibilities
Lead bring‑up and production of state‑of‑the‑art physical layer wireless communication systems
Design and simulate wireless systems optimized for ultra‑low power applications
Perform link budget modeling and system‑level performance analysis
Integrate and validate wireless technologies such as cellular, GPS, Wi‑Fi, BLE, LoRa, and mesh networking
Support both terrestrial and satellite communication systems
Collaborate closely across electrical, firmware, and mechanical teams
Drive cross‑functional alignment with antenna vendors, certification labs, and manufacturing partners
Required Skills
BSEE (or higher) with 7+ years of experience in RF systems design and debug
Proven experience with RF manufacturing line testing, fixture development, and validation
Hands‑on expertise in RF certification and compliance (PTCRB, EMI, FCC, etc.)
Experience working with antenna vendors and certification labs
Strong understanding of radio desense and coexistence (CoEx) testing
Skilled in RF lab setup, measurement, and performance analysis
Proven collaboration experience with RF silicon vendors, and internal EE, ME, and FW teams
Bonus Skills
Direct experience partnering with RF silicon vendors
Deep cross‑disciplinary collaboration across hardware, firmware, and mechanical engineering
This describes the ideal candidate; many of us have picked up this expertise along the way. Even if you meet only part of this list, we encourage you to apply!
Benefits
Health, Dental & Vision (Gold and Platinum with some providers plans fully covered)
Paid parental leave
Alternating day off (every other Monday)
“Off the Grid”, a two week per year paid break for all employees.
Commuter allowance
Company‑paid training
