Lewis Brisbois
The Las Vegas, NV office of Lewis Brisbois, a full‑service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking an associate attorney and partner to join its Insurance Bad Faith Practice. The ideal candidates will have at least one (1) year of experience in Insurance Bad Faith litigation. This area of law enables practitioners at LBBS to develop their civil litigation skills while representing sophisticated and well‑established national insurance companies. LBBS bad faith insurance defense attorneys rely upon their skills in contract interpretation, statutory interpretation, and analysis of a pre‑litigation record in matters involving contract law, tort law, and even statute‑based law.
In communicating with a client, attorneys must maintain a clear writing voice, especially when litigating a client’s cases. New practitioners joining this practice group will be most successful if they can bring experience with civil litigation, including drafting answers, propounding and responding to discovery, motion practice, and deposing witnesses. Strong research and writing skills are required. Admission to the Nevada Bar is required.
Our practice group values curiosity, hard work, thoughtful analysis, and (perhaps most importantly) superb interpersonal skills. For an attorney with a few years of civil litigation experience who would like to explore a field of law where torts, contracts, and statutes intertwine daily, LBBS’ insurance bad faith practice group can provide an excellent opportunity for professional development and we invite you to apply.
We offer competitive compensation and a range of benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401k with employer match.
