About the Role Our client is a growing manufacturing organization seeking a skilled CMM Inspector to ensure the dimensional accuracy and quality of precision components. This is a hands‑on role working with advanced metrology equipment in a high‑tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate Zeiss CMMs using Calypso software to inspect complex precision parts.
Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T to create and execute inspection plans.
Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections.
Analyze measurement data, identify trends, and report potential quality issues.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve non-conformances.
Maintain and calibrate metrology equipment for accuracy and reliability.
Document inspection results and ensure traceability per quality standards.
Qualifications
3+ years operating Zeiss CMMs in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with Calypso software (required).
Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and dimensional inspection techniques.
Experience with other metrology tools (micrometers, height gauges, surface plates).
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
Preferred
Experience in aerospace, medical device, or precision manufacturing.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems.
Knowledge of SPC and data analysis tools.
Desired Skills and Experience
Zeiss CMM Inspector experience.
Green card and US Citizen ONLY.
Collaborate with Engineering.
Work Arrangement: On-site, 5 days per week
