Position Summary The Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES) is seeking a skilled Angular Applications Developer to support the Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE). This developer will be dedicated to maintaining and enhancing existing web applications, as well as designing and developing new or modernized solutions using Angular. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with OSDE stakeholders to ensure the delivery of reliable, user-friendly, and accessible applications that meet the needs of educators, administrators, and the public. This position plays a critical role in supporting the digital infrastructure of education services across the state by modernizing legacy systems and ensuring long-term application stability and performance.

Full-time 40‑hour work weeks.
Support the Information Services Division.
Salary is up to $82,500.00 based on education and experience.
This is an on‑site position located in Oklahoma City, OK.
Responsibilities
Write clean, scalable code using .NET languages.
Participate in all phases of SDLC and project management, including reviewing and analyzing the organization’s business needs, consulting with users to evaluate requirements, discussing solutions, and developing plans of approach, including completion time estimates and UAT plans.
Perform ongoing maintenance and review of applications systems and programs.
Develop client displays, prototypes, user interfaces, and output formats to ensure ease of use, functionality, and accessibility.
Coordinate with other developers to identify areas of improvement, then create the specifications for the solution.
Prepare program documentation to support new or enhanced systems and applications.
Participate in structured walk‑throughs and other activities to review systems, and provide training and support.
Study the feasibility of proposed software applications or system modifications by identifying potential requirements and system restrictions to guide project development.
Physical Demands and Work Environment This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild. Occasional travel may be required.
Minimum Qualifications Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in computer science or management information systems from an accredited college or university; a vocational or technical education course resulting in certification in computer applications equivalent to a bachelor’s degree; and five years of computer applications experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preference Will Be Given To Candidates Who Possess
Working knowledge of the following frameworks/languages: ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript (with libraries like jQuery and Angular), Visual Basic, Entity Framework, and LINQ.
Experience with IIS, Azure.
Working knowledge of SQL or T‑SQL.
