Summary of Position We are seeking a strategic and analytical Pricing Strategy Analyst to lead the development, execution, and refinement of pricing strategies across our digital sales channels. This high‑impact role will help shape how we compete in a dynamic online marketplace by leveraging data, tools, and cross‑functional collaboration to drive revenue and margin improvements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and manage dynamic pricing models using real‑time data, customer segments, and competitive benchmarks.
Monitor competitor pricing, product performance, and marketplace trends to identify opportunities and threats.
Study evolving factors around procurement and cost relative to the risk profiles and probability of securing service associated with the published pricing available via our digital marketplace.
Develop data‑driven strategies to improve conversion, reduce pending purchase or “cart” abandonment, and increase profitability across customer segments.
Conduct pricing tests (e.g., A/B testing) to evaluate price elasticity, conversion rates, and profitability.
Collaborate with product, marketing, finance, and tech teams to ensure consistent and aligned pricing across channels.
Leverage pricing tools (e.g., Wiser, Prisync, Pricefx) and analytics platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau, SQL) to build dashboards and generate actionable insights.
Align pricing with promotional calendars and customer acquisition campaigns to maximize ROI.
Ensure accurate and automated pricing updates across all e‑commerce touchpoints.
Deliver executive reports on pricing performance, including KPIs like gross margin, cart abandonment, AOV, and CLV.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Deep understanding of pricing strategy in an e‑commerce or online retail environment.
Proficient in Excel, SQL, and business intelligence tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
Experience with pricing automation platforms or competitive intelligence tools (e.g., Pricefx, Revionics, Competera).
Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to interpret large datasets and translate them into business insights.
Knowledge of digital marketing metrics, conversion funnels, and customer segmentation.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills; able to work cross‑functionally and present to senior leadership.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, data‑driven, and iterative testing environment.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
4–7 years of experience in pricing, e‑commerce analytics, revenue management, or digital merchandising.
Schedule & Travel
Normal business hours are expected.
Travel not anticipated.
