About the Role We are searching for a Security Consultant to work in a hybrid work environment in Springfield, Virginia. This is a market rate position, meaning we are able to consider candidates at a wide pay range commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
Develop, review, and revise corporate security policies and procedures to enhance organizational security posture.
Design, deliver, and evaluate security training programs tailored for various employee levels, including creating job aids and awareness materials.
Support the development and integration of enterprise security capabilities such as threat response, insider risk mitigation, and counterintelligence awareness.
Collaborate with legal, HR, and operational teams to ensure policies align with regulatory and industry standards.
Create communication strategies for security awareness and advisories.
Recommend tools, technologies, and metrics to measure and improve security capabilities.
Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide regular project updates and reports to senior leadership.
Qualifications
At least 2-5 years of proven experience in corporate security policy and procedure development.
Experience designing and delivering security training programs.
Strong communication and project management skills.
Preferred: Experience in enterprise security capability development and stakeholder engagement.
