Mergers & Acquisitions Associate

to join its

New York City

office.

Job Responsibilities:

Representing private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, and other strategic buyers and sellers in mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and growth equity investments

Leading drafting and negotiation of key transaction documents, including purchase agreements, operating agreements, and other deal-related contracts

Advising clients on general corporate and commercial matters, including governance and shareholder arrangements

Managing multiple complex transactions simultaneously in coordination with colleagues across practice areas

Participating in client development and relationship-building initiatives with the support of senior attorneys and firm resources

Requirements:

JD from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials

Minimum of 5 years of M&A or private equity experience at a law firm

Admission to the New York Bar (or eligibility to waive in)

Demonstrated ability to manage all phases of a transaction, from term sheet through closing

Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills

Business-oriented mindset and team-focused approach
