Manager, Logistics Accounting
The Manager, Logistics Accounting will lead the timely and accurate month‑end logistics accounting and reporting for the HelloFresh US brands. This person will manage Senior Accountants, influence business partners, and independently drive processes and improvements. The role requires strong collaboration across Finance teams—including Logistics Operations, Accounts Payable, US FP&A, and US Financial Reporting—supporting large data sets, distilling insights, solving complex problems, and leading process improvement projects. The Manager should bring a process‑improvement mindset, a customer‑focus, and the ability to work egolessly and proactively ask questions.
Job Responsibilities
Manage Senior Accountants during the month‑end close for HF US brands, including recording and approving journal entries, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, and performing variance analysis.
Partner with stakeholders to ensure completeness and accuracy of month‑end accruals.
Support staff with detailed validation of aged accrual balances and identification of recorded liabilities per policy.
Review P&L and balance sheet accounts, providing managers with insights into month‑over‑month trends.
Drive reconciliation of data discrepancies, supporting the team in deep‑diving to the lowest level and finding resolutions.
Identify efficiencies to help the team close the period faster and more accurately.
Own variance analysis for cost reporting and budgets in specific areas.
Support internal and external audit requirements related to specific account areas.
Update process documentation on an ongoing basis as needed.
Review staff work and mentor them in their area of responsibility.
Qualifications
BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
5–7 years of professional accounting experience – mix of public accounting and industry accounting preferred.
Knowledge of IFRS and other accounting principles.
Advanced spreadsheet (Excel and/or Google Sheets) and data manipulation skills.
Experience with Oracle, Tableau, and SQL a plus.
Demonstrated financial acumen and analytical experience delivering variance analysis and data interpretation.
Analyst, Supply Chain Planning The Analyst, Supply Chain Planning will manage weekly menu‑planning tasks, implement and drive strategy to enhance operations, and leverage data to improve accuracy and efficiency. The Analyst will be the primary liaison with key stakeholders, develop tools and metrics, and work with the Analytics team to build sophisticated planning models and data warehouses.

Identify, analyze, and drive strategic initiatives to enhance operations.
Develop and improve tools and metrics to ensure recipe database health and improve menu‑planning reporting.
Work with the Analytics team to build sophisticated planning models and tools, leveraging Python scripts and data warehouse development.
Work on projects and new initiatives with broad company impact and leadership exposure.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Planning, Data Science, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
Fluent in Microsoft Office and Google Suite (especially Google Sheets/Sheets scripts); intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency.
Ability to work with multiple database systems and provide intelligence‑driven conclusions.
Experience with Tableau, SQL, and other data tools a plus.
Experience delivering actionable, data‑driven insights.
Excellent problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
