Senior Tax Accountant
Our client is a boutique, specialized accounting firm with a long history of servicing privately held businesses and HNW individuals. This position offers industry leading work-life balance, and hybrid flexibility! Base pay range
$85,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr Responsibilities:
Providing tax compliance and advisory services to individual and business clients, including trusts and exempt organizations Leading teams of seniors and staff accountants Oversee planning and scheduling of engagements Research complex tax issuesli> Ensure quality of work product Coach/mentor individual team members Provide formal and informal feedback Communicate progress to partners Develop and maintain strong client relationships with client personnel and prospective clients Work closely with clients to advise on income tax issues and related tax planning Requirements:
3+ years of experience depending on relevant work experience preferred. Bachelor's degree in accounting or related major; Master's degree in a plus. Experience with preparation/review of income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and estates preferred. Licensed CPA preferred. Ability to identify and propose resolutions to complex income tax issues. Demonstrated advanced project management skills. Ability to utilize firm technology to enhance client service. Strong technical aptitude and communication skills. Ability to work independently. Has proven experience in leading and supervising a team. Can learn, teach, and supervise in a fast‑paced environment and is receptive to feedback and coaching. Ability to multi‑task, prioritize responsibilities, and take initiative on projects. Has high attention to detail. Has a attitude and a team‑player mentality with a can‑do spirit. Microsoft Office skills must all be strong.
