https://www.NFP.com Summary This support role offers a senior coordinator to assist account teams with basic administrative and support functions in daily client servicing. The Senior Coordinator begins client contact via senior team members, attends meetings and client calls to listen, take notes and follow up. The role exposes the coordinator to the Account Manager functions, the RFP process and industry knowledge through special projects directed by senior team members. Ideal Experience Several years of Commercial Lines experience in a servicing support, administrative or operations function; servicing Private Equity clients is a plus. Full‑time Hybrid Schedule Full‑time role with a hybrid schedule based in Plainview, NY. Working in the office at least 2 days a week is required. Working from home requires a private workspace, high‑speed internet, presence and responsiveness online and minimizing personal interruptions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Self‑starter, imaginative and creative with good verbal and written communication skills. Minimum of two years of experience in a similar administrative, operations or client servicing position. Exceptional written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams. Excellent calendar management skills with meeting planning experience. Work independently and within a team environment. Attention to detail and follow‑through; sense of urgency. Expose to clients and carrier contacts; attend meetings and calls with the Account Management team. Assist the Account Management Team in preparing insurance for company proposal requests. Perform policy checking, complete coverage checklists and coverage recommendation letters. Create and maintain client files in the Agency Management System-EPIC: verify rates, adjust for premium and expedite invoice when an order comes in. Assist with billing questions from clients and insurance company personnel with assistance from the Accounting Department when necessary. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong desire for a career in insurance and brokerage services. Hybrid work from the Plainview NY office and meet hybrid requirements. Good analytical and problem‑solving skills. May be required to work overtime as necessary. Weekly hybrid schedule from our Plainview/Long Island NY office. Education and Experience Two plus years of related P&C experience and/or related training; experience servicing Private Equity (PE) clients a plus. High School Diploma or equivalent is required; additional education preferred. Experience with EPIC or other agency management system required.
