Senior Engineering Technical Specialist
to join the 737 Engineering team in
Renton, Washington . This requisition is to support the 737 Interiors and Liaison Engineering Director/Chief Engineer and their respective leadership teams. The ideal candidates should be knowledgeable on software tools such as charting within MS Excel and working schedules within MS Project. The candidate must also be willing to learn new software tools, including Tableau and MS Power BI, and be able to develop/maintain websites and perform light software coding.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads development, documentation, implementation and consultation of the application of, and compliance with, requirements for the use of engineering tools, processes and standards Guides training and provides subject matter expertise in the utilization of processes, tools and integration of engineering designs Ensures regulatory requirements are met Leads the validation of user access roles and the production of moderately complex tipsheets Guides configuration management, coordination of changes, assessments of compliance and manages the implementation of product standards across company business units and programs Represents Company interests on external standards committees and develops, adapts and/or adopts external standards for internal use Directs the development, maintenance and distribution of engineering documents, reports and correspondence to enable business activity Leads the collection, analysis and validation of engineering performance metrics and coordinates organizational requirements to support business needs Works under minimal direction This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science 5+ years' related work experience Proficiency in MS Suite Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
