We seek an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve production processes within our precision sheet‑metal fabrication facility. The role focuses on optimizing laser cutting operations, programming, tooling, and manufacturability while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the plant. Base Pay Range

Program, operate, and troubleshoot Mitsubishi fiber laser systems using Accufab and Ncell Develop and maintain laser cut programs, nesting strategies, and machine parameters for high throughput and quality Create and modify 3D CAD models and 2D production drawings in SolidWorks Support DFM/DFA in collaboration with engineering, quality, and production teams Provide technical support for fabrication processes including laser cutting, forming, welding, assembly, and finishing Implement process improvements to reduce scrap, increase throughput, and ensure product quality Develop work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures Support new product introductions and production ramps Drive root‑cause analysis and corrective action initiatives Work closely with machine operators to optimize daily performance and troubleshoot issues Qualifications
5–10 years hands‑on manufacturing engineering experience in metal fabrication or a similar environment Proficiency with Mitsubishi fiber laser systems and nesting/programming software (Accufab, Ncell) Expert‑level SolidWorks experience (parts, assemblies, drawings, sheet‑metal modules) Strong understanding of fabrication processes: laser cutting, press brake forming, welding, finishing Proven history of implementing process improvements and supporting production teams Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing documentation Strong problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis skills Ability to work hands‑on in a fast‑paced shop‑floor environment Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a high‑mix, low‑volume manufacturing setting Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies Familiarity with GD&T and precision fabrication tolerances Note: If this position is located in our Little Chute, WI facility, it may be subject to export control regulation.
