Strides Behavioral Services is a center-based ABA clinic that provides high‑quality, intensive behavioral services to children and adolescents aged 2 to 16 in our Warwick location and aged 2‑6 in our East Providence location. We specialize in supporting clients with moderate to severe behaviors and delays in social and communication skills. Our collaborative, trauma‑informed approach focuses on reducing challenging behaviors while building meaningful skills that help children and adolescents thrive at home, in school, and in the community.
Position Summary We are looking for two passionate and experienced
Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
to join our growing clinical team. The ideal candidate has strong experience working with moderate to severe problem behavior and is equally confident in designing treatment plans based on the clients needs. This is a clinic-based, full-time position with opportunities for clinical growth and professional development.
Responsibilities
Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skills assessments (e.g., VB‑MAPP, ABLLS‑R, AFLS)
Design individualized treatment plans focused on behavior reduction and skill acquisition
Implement and oversee social skills groups and peer interaction programs
Supervise and train a team of RBTs/behavior technicians
Analyze behavioral data and adjust programming based on progress
Communicate effectively with caregivers and clinical team members
Ensure treatment fidelity and ethical, evidence-based practices
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
Participate in safety and crisis intervention training (Safety‑Care, CPR/First Aid, etc.)
Supervision
Act as direct supervisor to Behavior Technicians
Monitor treatment integrity
Provide consistent supervision in compliance with BACB and company requirements
Provide training to staff
Participate in team meetings
Qualifications
Master's Degree in ABA or related human service field
Must hold current certification as a Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst and be in good standing
Must be a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Rhode Island and be in good standing
Must have extensive knowledge of applied behavior analysis
Experience leading social skills instruction or group-based programming
At least 1 year of experience working with children with severe behavior needs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented clinic environment
Must pass a BCI and CANTs screening
