Integration Business Analyst – Morrisville, NC

Perform integrations of Xylem solutions with Utility customers and 3rd‑party systems

Coordinate activities and ensure effective and timely communication of project requirements and milestones to all relevant stakeholders

Demonstrate basic problem‑solving abilities, coupled with a desire to take on responsibility

Ensure projects are documented, prioritized and executed to address program/project requirements

Proactively develop innovative approaches, risk mitigation strategies and assist in continuous improvement

Maintain a current understanding of core Xylem applications

Understand the flow of information from the meter to external systems

Act as a liaison between business users, software engineering and distributor partners

Assist in maintaining the current integration and training materials on Confluence. Communicate updates to integration and training material to the appropriate parties within Sensus.

Assist as needed in other Professional Services efforts

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Excellent planning, project management and organizational skills – the ability to manage many projects at varying stages of progress.

Strong requirements gathering skills – The ability to accurately document a customer’s concerns or requests for functionality, including use case development and Statements of Work (SOW)

Excellent communication skills – the ability to communicate project requirements, statuses and training content to the Utility, Distributors and Vendors.

The ability to multitask and handle many ongoing projects at once.

Understanding of database query, spreadsheet and word processing software with the ability to quickly learn new tools.

Familiarity with API integrations (REST, SOAP)

Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to take on responsibility and function under minimal supervision.

Ability to work with a wide range of people, in several locations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an Information Technology field.

2 years’ experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a related role

2 years’ customer facing experience (desired)

Travel

Up to 20%
