What You Will Get To Do

Feature delivery: Implement end‑to‑end user stories in React/TypeScript with clean, testable code and responsive, accessible UI.

Rendering strategy: Apply SSR/SSG/CSR appropriately (Next.js App Router, React Server Components/streaming) to balance SEO, performance, and complexity.

Performance: Optimize for Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS); use code‑splitting, lazy loading, caching, image optimization, and efficient state management.

Design system: Build and maintain reusable components and tokens; document usage in Storybook; support theming and cross‑app reuse.

Quality & CI/CD: Add unit/e2e tests (Jest/Vitest, Playwright/Cypress), participate in reviews, and ship via automated pipelines (type checks, lint, a11y, visual regression).

Accessibility (a11y): Ensure semantic HTML, ARIA, keyboard navigation, focus management, and contrast meet WCAG 2.2 AA.

APIs & data: Collaborate with Backend on REST/GraphQL contracts; implement data‑fetching patterns (React Query/TanStack, SWR) and error/empty states.

Observability: Instrument telemetry (OpenTelemetry/console events), track client error rates and performance dashboards, and iterate based on data.

Tech leadership: Lead design docs/RFCs, make framework/library trade‑offs, guide code reviews, and mentor junior/mid engineers.

What You Will Bring

Mid‑level: 3–5 years building production web apps with React, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Senior: 5–8+ years, including leading feature delivery across services/teams and mentoring peers.

Strong grasp of web performance (network, rendering, hydration), state management (React Query/Redux/Zustand/Signals), and API consumption (REST/GraphQL).

Hands‑on with testing (Jest/Vitest, Playwright/Cypress) and CI/CD.

Practical accessibility skills (semantic HTML, ARIA, screen readers, focus, contrast).

Preferred Qualifications

Next.js (App Router), React Server Components, streaming, and incremental static regeneration.

Experience with design systems (tokens, Storybook), visual regression testing, and component governance.

Micro‑frontends (Module Federation) or monorepo tooling (Nx/Turborepo).

Internationalization (i18n) at scale.

Observability (Sentry, OpenTelemetry, New Relic) and experimentation/analytics.

Edge runtimes/CDN strategies (Vercel/Cloudflare), plus familiarity with WebAssembly/WebGL when applicable.

Interest in applying AI/ML to improve UX or DX (e.g., content suggestions, automated testing).
