This role offers a unique opportunity to work on next‑generation control systems for power generation facilities. As the energy sector evolves, there is a growing need to modernize how operators interact with and manage power plants while ensuring these systems remain secure and resilient. Emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, present new opportunities to transform operational efficiency and effectiveness. You will contribute to projects focused on advancing control system technologies, improving user experiences, and strengthening system security. This role provides exposure to multiple aspects of control system development, whether interface design to cybersecurity implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and recommend technologies for modern control room environments

Support the design and prototyping of control system interfaces using simulation tools

Assist in implementing security controls and best practices for operational technology systems

Gather and analyze feedback from stakeholders to inform design and security improvements

Contribute to documentation, templates, and standards that support customer operations

Explore opportunities to integrate advanced technologies into control systems

Evaluate computing technologies to support control system feature enhancements built on generative AI

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other “STEM” majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)

Desired Qualifications

Experience in Human Machine Interface Design or Graphic Design with computer programming knowledge

Interest in control systems, user interface design, or cybersecurityAwareness of large language and small language artificial intelligence models and prompt engineering

Familiarity with zero‑trust cybersecurity principles

Basic knowledge of industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC UA) or SCADA systems

Familiarity with design tools or security principles

Awareness of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $71,600.00 and $107,400.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
