Job Description We are seeking a Junior Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer to support automation efforts within the DoD Medical Enterprise. The candidate will collaborate with Navy Medicine stakeholders, business analysts, and technical staff to design, develop, and maintain RPA solutions using UiPath Studio and Orchestrator. The developer will work within the Microsoft O365 ecosystem and contribute to projects that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual workload across Navy Medicine.

This is a hybrid remote work position with preference to reside within commuting distance of San Antonio, TX to support in-person meetings. Position may require occasional travel in support of customer requirements.

Design, develop, and test attended and unattended UiPath automations based on stakeholder requirements.

Configure and manage workflows in UiPath Orchestrator, ensuring reliable scheduling and execution.

Integrate UiPath solutions with Microsoft O365 tools such as Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, and Teams.

Work directly with Navy Medicine stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and document business processes.

Translate user needs into technical specifications and automation logic.

Provide demonstrations, training, and support to end-users and government leads.

Monitor deployed automations for performance and reliability.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments.

Maintain documentation and version control for all automation assets.

Ensure automations comply with DoD cybersecurity and data handling standards.

Follow UiPath and agency best practices for secure and maintainable automation development.

Participate in other project work/duties as assigned by the program manager.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience developing automations using UiPath Studio (internship or academic experience acceptable).

Familiarity with Microsoft O365 tools and APIs.

Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Ability to work independently with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Possess a SECRET security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

UiPath Certified RPA Associate or equivalent certification.

Experience with UiPath Orchestrator and REFramework.

Exposure to VB.NET, C#, or Python for automation scripting.

Prior experience supporting federal healthcare or DoD environments.

Demonstrated success meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, mission-critical support role.

Known for collaborative spirit and strong customer service orientation.
