About The Role
We are seeking an experienced
ServiceNow Engineer
to lead the design and delivery of enterprise‑scale ServiceNow solutions. This role will drive platform strategy, architecture, and optimization across ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, ITAM, HRSD, and other ServiceNow applications. You’ll collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to define roadmaps, architect integrations, and ensure the platform aligns with business objectives, industry standards, and ITIL best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of end‑to‑end ServiceNow solutions (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, ITAM, HRSD, and beyond).
Strategic Planning: Define architectural vision and roadmaps in collaboration with stakeholders and project teams.
Customization & Configuration: Oversee module configuration and customization while ensuring best practices and scalability.
Integration Design: Architect integrations with third‑party systems (LDAP, Active Directory, SAP, AWS, Azure, Salesforce, APIs).
Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams; promote coding best practices and high‑quality standards.
Platform Optimization: Optimize ServiceNow environments for performance, usability, and cost‑efficiency, including reviewing CMDB, workflows, and integrations.
Governance & Security: Establish governance, security, and compliance frameworks to maintain system integrity.
Client Engagement: Serve as SME for architecture, automation, and platform capabilities; advise stakeholders on ServiceNow strategy.
Documentation: Produce detailed architecture diagrams, workflows, and implementation guides.
Upgrades & Enhancements: Lead system upgrades, patching, and adoption of new ServiceNow features with minimal disruption.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of ServiceNow design/implementation experience
Proven expertise in ServiceNow architecture across ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, and CMDB.
Deep knowledge of ServiceNow modules, best practices, and the Common Services Data Model (CSDM).
Extensive experience with integrations (REST, SOAP, OAuth2, JWT, MID Server) and scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules).
Strong ITIL knowledge and practical application (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB).
Experience with ServiceNow update sets, version control, deployment processes, and governance frameworks.
Familiarity with advanced features like Flow Designer, Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Certifications preferred: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD), System Administrator (CSA), or Technical Architect (CTA).
Preferred Qualifications
Hands‑on experience with ITOM modules (Discovery, Orchestration, Event Management).
Exposure to HAM, SAM, CSM, CRM modules.
Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and their ServiceNow integrations.
Experience with DevOps/CI‑CD pipelines for ServiceNow deployments.
Knowledge of automation frameworks to enhance operational efficiency.
