Responsibilities The Manager is responsible for providing property tax services to clients. The Manager participates in the business process in several key areas: business development, providing client service, reporting, invoicing, collections, and ensuring overall client satisfaction. The Manager ensures that the Statement of Work is executed for each of our clients that has been assigned to manage. This account management includes making sure Appeal Track is maintained with the utmost accuracy and data is timely entered into the system. A Manager is responsible for all aspects of property tax analysis and consulting relating to real and personal property taxes. The Manager works with Analysts, Managers and Senior Managers to ensure that all properties are reviewed and appealed timely.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Maintains relationships with all clients with the potential for providing or selling additional property tax division services or services provided by other divisions
Understands the qualification criteria of the other service divisions and maintains capability to explain these services to clients
Interacts with sales representatives to capitalize on client opportunities
Conducts on‑site inspection of client properties and operations
Present findings and make recommendations to clients
Communicate with assessors and attend hearings as necessary
Works with tax officials to achieve maximum tax savings for clients
Maintains excellent knowledge of all real and personal property tax laws, regulations, and court decisions
Maintain the Appeal Track database in a timely fashion with appeal recommendations, valuations, tax rates, and corresponding documentation while ensuring the Analysts are doing the same
Develop talent at the Analyst level
Researches complex tax issues
Education And Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
Certification is required.
3+ years’ experience in property tax consulting
Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Hold appropriate certifications
Ability to meet travel requirements of the job
For California, Colorado, New York and Washington: The compensation range for this role is $100,340 to $190,240. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
