ABOUT CHIEF'S Chief's is a six-story bar and live music venue celebrating the ever-expanding musical legacy of Eric Church. Located in the heart of downtown Nashville, Chief's features a ticketed music venue, inspirational interiors, and a distinct focus on original live performances—offering fans an unmatched entertainment experience in Music City. The venue includes a broadcast studio, home to Church's Outsiders Radio on SiriusXM, with capabilities to host programming from a range of media partners. Culinary offerings are in collaboration with James Beard Award–winning pitmaster Rodney Scott, available throughout the space. On the fifth floor, Redemption Bar, a new concept developed with award‑winning artist Ashley McBryde, is dedicated to spotlighting original music and emerging talent. Chief's is located at the corner of 2nd Avenue and Broadway.

ABOUT THE ROLE Chief's FOH Supervisor provides support to the Operations team and hourly staff. They work to ensure operations run smoothly by addressing walk‑in guest inquiries, dealing with vendors, and walking all areas of the building to report on maintenance or cleanliness issues. The Supervisor also aids in setting up the shift for success.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Provide on‑the‑floor support to bar, service, retail, and events for the duration of a shift and assist with overseeing day‑to‑day floor operations, including assigning work stations and server sections, overseeing side work, observing steps of service, and maintaining overall cleanliness of the spaces
Interact with guests throughout the venue during each shift to ensure guest satisfaction while creating memorable experiences
Assist with staff trainings
Maintain pars of all menus, printed promotional materials, etc. throughout the venue
Assist in interviewing, hiring, and coaching process of hourly employees as needed
Demonstrate an ability to lead and motivate others, and achieve results
Maintain focus on creating memorable experience through guest interaction and enlightened hospitality
Advise Operations managers of any guest issues that arise that need management communication or attention
Ensure maintenance of property by examining areas daily for cleanliness and maintenance needs and reporting any needs to upper management where necessary
Support the Operations managers including supervising other areas if necessary, handling special projects, running promotions
Perform all cash handling procedures: opening, mid‑day safe counts, cash pay‑outs and nightly cash drops, as needed
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ATTRIBUTES
Leadership: Demonstrate an ability to lead and motivate others and achieve results. Empowered to make day‑to‑day decisions confidently both with guests, service teams and other departmental management.
Communication: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills with service teams and management.
Hospitality: Maintain focus on high level service quality.
Technical Skills: Microsoft Windows proficient.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 2 years operational experience as a FOH Supervisor or equivalent.
Experience working in a multi‑faceted venue inclusive of F&B and Live Music.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as organizational skills.
Must be able to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
