What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Support the implementation and execution of a Compliance Risk Management framework within the 1st Line of Defense
Provide guidance on compliance risk responsibilities, including risk assessments and control identification
Lead compliance risk management assessments for new products and services
Collaborate with bank leaders on compliance incidents and root-cause analysis
Develop and implement regular communication methods to keep employees informed of regulatory updates
What is Required (Qualifications)
Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business, Data & Analytics, or similar
Minimum of 4+ years of risk and internal control experience
Experience in Commercial Banking and associated lending and deposit products
Familiarity with Treasury Management, Capital Markets, and Derivatives is a plus
Experience in large banking environments with change management execution
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Understanding of Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) and Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements
Knowledge of non‑financial risk management and audit best practices
Ability to manage multiple projects within required timelines
Experience in defining and documenting business processes
Demonstrated effectiveness in managing operational requirements in a Commercial Banking capacity
