Objective As a Controlling employee, you will be responsible for the error‑free preparation of the monthly and annual financial statements, including consolidation of the various companies at the site. Furthermore, you plan and control the accounts of the balance sheet and prepare corresponding analyses including explanation of deviations.
Main Responsibilities
Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements HGB: monthly
IFRS: monthly
Preparation of the consolidation of the two German companies and analysis of consolidation deviations
Preparation of offsetting (peak accounting) of the Wernigerode companies
Preparation and execution of tax determination
Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts within the framework of the ICS on a monthly basis
Contact person for tax advisors and auditors
Preparation of various monthly reports for the actual analysis
Determination and analysis of the budget‑actual deviation
Control and monitoring of measures to improve key figures
Preparation of balance sheet analyses regarding changes compared to the previous year
Preparation of monthly forecasts on a monthly basis
Preparation of the 5‑year plan and the budget for the following year in HGB and IFRS (P&L, balance sheet, liquidity and cash flow statement)
Position Requirements
At least 3 years of university education or at least 3 years of specialized vocational training and at least 2 years of specialized training as well as many years of professional experience with additional specialized training
Experience: Specialized knowledge, interdisciplinary experience and know‑how (2 years+).
First professional experience in a production environment (automotive industry desirable)
High affinity for numbers and strong analytical skills
Systematic and structured way of working
Ability to work in a team / high resilience
Good SAP FI / CO and Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
German skills (business fluent)
English skills (business fluent)
Advanced knowledge of Excel
