DIVISIONS AND JOB FUNCTIONS Risk aims to effectively identify, monitor, evaluate and manage the firm's financial and operational risks - including reputational risk - in support of the firm's strategic plan. Credit Risk (CR) is a central part of Goldman Sachs' risk management framework, with primary responsibility for assessing, monitoring and managing credit risk at the Firm. CR is staffed globally with offices including New York, London, Salt Lake City, Warsaw, Bengaluru, HongKong and Tokyo. Understanding the credit quality of corporations, financial institutions andernments worldwide is an essential aspect of the firm's ability to be an effective financial intermediary. CR professionals with expertise in financial, credit and risk analysis work closely with many areas of the firm as well as clients, offering a unique opportunity to gain a broad perspective on the activities of the Firm. CR partners with other divisions in the firm and externally with clients to support the firm's wide array of banking and trading businesses. CR professionals are part of the value proposition of the firm and balance our key functional responsibility of control with that of has strong traditions of risk management, client service excellence and career development opportunities for our people.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree
3-10 years of prior work experience in a relevant field.
Proficient to advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
Strong ability to manage multiple projects withpeting deadlines
Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic
Strongmunication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to adapt quickly to a variety of industries and businesses
Ability to self-direct, analyze and evaluate and form independent judgments
Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with senior management and global stakeholders
Integrity, ethical standards and sound judgment
