Plant Quality Manager

We are looking for a Plant Quality Manager (PQM) to lead quality excellence at our manufacturing site, ensuring our products, systems, and processes meet the highest standards and exceed customer expectations.
As the PQM, you will lead the Customer Satisfaction & Quality (CS&Q) function, from incoming materials to final shipment. You will act as the Voice of the Customer, driving compliance, continuous improvement, and a culture of quality ownership.
Key Responsibilities Quality Leadership & Governance
Lead the CS&Q team, aligning with Schneider Electric’s quality standards and policies.
Define and deploy plant quality objectives, KPIs, and improvement plans.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and Schneider’s Quality Management System.
Maintain audit readiness and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Quality Assurance & Control
Oversee inspection programs, process control plans, and final product release.
Lead non-conformance management and ensure effective corrective actions.
Validate inspection tools and ensure team training and readiness.
Issue Management & Escalation
Drive root cause analysis and 8D investigations for quality issues.
Manage and escalate systemic issues per CS&Q protocols.
Collaborate with supplier quality teams on defect resolution.
Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement
Deploy LPAs, FMEAs, and poka-yoke initiatives.
Lead Gemba walks and Kaizen events focused on defect prevention.
Promote data-driven decisions using quality dashboards and metrics.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Develop and mentor the CS&Q team.
Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Field Quality to align on quality goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
7+ years in Quality or Operations leadership in manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean, and quality tools (FMEA, 8D, SPC).
Green or Black Belt certification preferred.
