Genomic Life is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our team! Working with the Medical Affairs group as part of the Data Engagement Team, you will be focused on compiling, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets to identify trends and provide key insights.

Responsibilities
Compiles, analyzes, and interprets large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and provide key business and client insights
Refines and enhances client-centric reporting requirements and continuous data insights for scientific and commercial initiatives
Develops a database resource for broad analysis and assessment across multi-sourced genetic and clinical data
Performs data mining, cleaning, and aggregation processes to prepare data, implement data models, conduct analysis, and develop databases
Develops reports from multiple structured and unstructured data sources using programming, statistical, and analytical techniques and tools
Identifies relevant data sources and sets to mine for client needs, and collect large structured and unstructured datasets
Maintains continuous collaboration with teams to understand the underlying purpose, focus, and objective of each data analysis project to ensure alignment and support
Designs, develops, and implements valuable data-driven solutions for the organization
Serve as a lead data strategist to identify new datasets that can be leveraged through our product capabilities
Collaborate with the product team to implement analytical models and standard validation procedures for data sets to release to production
Transition validated data sources to a self-service analytic and reporting framework
Work to develop AI generated insights for analytics and forecasting
Partner with the product and operational teams to enhance our internal processes for business analytics, data quality monitoring, data issue resolution and operational excellence
Requirements
5+ years of experience in a data scientist role
Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related field
Deep experience with medical data/records
Experience with genetic data, genetic terminology and HPO terms a plus
Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis
Advanced experience in pattern recognition and predictive modeling
Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, SQL, and programming languages (ex: Java/Python, SAS)
Knowledge of AWS managed services is preferred (S3, DynamoDB)
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, research-oriented group with multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities
Strong written and verbal communication with experience preparing manuscripts a plus
Strong analytical capabilities
Strong attention to detail, and excellent time-management skills
Knowledge of Salesforce.com
Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and other project management tools
Ability to work in fast paced, start-up environment
Experience in the employer benefits space is preferred
