Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Holy Cross Health Position Summary:

Assist physician conducting treatments and procedures. Demonstrates competence in ordered treatments including but not limited to vital signs, documentation, administering injections and monitoring patients for adverse reactions after injections, preparing patients for treatments and procedures, assisting with minor dressing and wound care utilizing proper sterile/clean technique and infection control. Performs data collection in an ongoing and systematic manner, focusing on the physiological, psychological, and cognitive status of each patient assigned using assessment sheets. Reports findings to the RN.

What You Will Need:

Education:

Graduate of an accredited LPN nursing program is required.

Experience:

One (1) year of experience in a medical office or hospital setting is preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

Florida LPN license is required. BLS card from AHA is required.
