We are seeking a Salesforce Manager to join our Technology team. This position will be a crucial role in overseeing RCN Capital’s Salesforce platform, leading the team comprised of solution architect, administrators and developers to align the CRM with business goals through strategic planning, project management, and system optimization. Key responsibilities include managing stakeholders, guiding the platform roadmap, developing custom configurations, ensuring data integrity, and fostering user adoption through training and support, ensuring the platform efficiently supports business processes and strategic objectives.
Ideal candidates will possess a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform and will have a vested interest in understanding the best ways the system can be used to its fullest extent to meet business objectives. In collaboration with our technology, executive, and sales leadership, the Salesforce Administrator will deliver solutions to scale RCN Capital's business.
Responsibilities Platform Strategy and Management Develop and maintain the Salesforce product strategy and roadmap, ensuring it aligns with overarching business goals and supports future growth. Guide and mentor a team of Salesforce solution architect, administrators and developers, fostering a collaborative work environment and driving team performance.
Project Management Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of Salesforce projects, from requirements gathering to implementation and ongoing maintenance.
Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with sales, marketing, IT, and other teams to understand their needs and align Salesforce solutions with their business processes and KPIs.
System Optimization & Data Integrity Implement and manage best practices for system governance, data cleansing, and user permissions to ensure data accuracy and platform stability.
Technical & Configuration Duties Customization Develop and deploy custom configurations, including custom objects, fields, validation rules, and complex automation through features like Flows.
Reporting & Analytics Create, monitor, and maintain custom reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights into business performance and user adoption.
Integrations Manage the development and maintenance of interfaces with third-party systems to ensure seamless data flow and extended functionality.
User & Process Support User Adoption Implement strategies and provide training to drive user adoption of Salesforce and its various features, enhancing efficiency and productivity.
Troubleshooting & Support Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for the Salesforce platform, providing timely support, troubleshooting system errors, and resolving user requests.
Change Management Utilize structured change management processes to implement new features, configurations, and system improvements based on evolving business needs.
Qualifications Exemplary communication skills Ability to interpret business needs and translate them to high leverage technology solutions In depth knowledge of Salesforce and applications for the program in a business setting Ability to problem solve at a high level Ability to follow a solution from inception through implementation and support Ability to adapt to changing requirements
Required Experience A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator delivering impactful business solutions Demonstrable experience in translating business requirements to actionable solutions Experience in implementing Salesforce solutions within real estate or mortgage related industries is a plus
Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS/MIS/BIS, or related field required Master's degree in Computer Science, CIS/MIS/BIS, or related field a plus
Schedule Full time Monday-Friday, 9AM - 6PM Hybrid work model, minimum of 2 days per week in office In office should be commutable to either South Windsor, CT or Charlotte, NC locations
