Role at a Glance
As Director of Commercial E-Commerce, you'll be the driving force behind AutoZone's commercial digital platforms. You'll lead cross‑functional initiatives, align enterprise strategies, and ensure our commercial customers enjoy a seamless, intuitive experience across AutoZonePro.com and beyond. From building multi‑year roadmaps to guiding IT development and collaborating with sales and operations, you'll be the go‑to expert for all things commercial E‑Commerce. Your work will directly impact sales, customer satisfaction, and the future of our omni‑channel strategy.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage sales targets and budgets aligned with AutoZone's strategic objectives
Deliver performance updates to senior leadership and executives
Identify and implement growth opportunities through user enhancements and third‑party integrations
Build and maintain multi‑year digital roadmaps in partnership with digital leadership
Lead IT digital projects with a focus on commercial E‑Commerce platforms
Enhance AutoZonePro.com through customer and AutoZoner feedback
Collaborate with Commercial Sales and Ops teams to drive field engagement and training
Oversee Electronic Ordering integration, third‑party catalog development, and enterprise POS enhancements.
Qualifications What We're Looking For
10+ years of experience in retail and digital commerce roles
Proven success in B2B strategy and technology development
Strong cross‑functional leadership and influence skills
Deep understanding of web technologies, integrations, and E‑Commerce trends
Experience in agile development environments
Familiarity with mobile apps and in‑store POS systems
Track record of improving digital user experiences to boost engagement and conversion
Expertise in product management across IT projects
Strong analytical, planning, and presentation skills
Exceptional communication and organizational abilities
Ability to engage across all levels of the organization and with external partners
You'll Go the Extra Mile If You Have
MBA or equivalent preferred
A passion for customer experience and digital innovation
Experience launching new technologies based on business needs
A strategic mindset with a hands‑on approach to execution
