A reputable non-profit hospital in central Maine is adding a Pediatric Hospitalist. You will be part of a team of dedicated physicians who will contribute to the well-being of our patients in a supportive and collaborative environment.
About the Position
Your choice of either 10 night shifts per month or 13-day shifts per month
Provide care for well-newborns, Level II NICU and delivery attendance, pediatric inpatients, and emergency department consults
State-of-the-art 190‑bed facility
12 or 24‑hour shifts available.
In‑house support from OBs, midwives, anesthesia, emergency medicine, and family medicine
Pediatric subspecialty/NICU/PICU support available by phone
Teaching responsibilities
Average daily census of 4-6 patients
