Our growing team is looking to add a Senior Vice President, Marketing who will be responsible for leadership, management, and strategy of the Marketing Team. The position is a key member of the Senior Executive team, engaged in defining the overall business strategy, direction of the organization, and the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy. The position owns all areas including branding, product marketing, analyst relations, and marketing analytics.
Responsibilities
Lead the Marketing Department in the development and execution of the Wedbush Brand, Marketing Initiatives, Communications, and Campaigns that ensure brand cohesiveness
Partner with senior executives in development of the comprehensive marketing strategy agenda and full marketing plan, including marketing goals, research and objectives
Act as a point of contact for all Marketing and Brand topics for the entire organization
Lead in the development, implementation and maintenance of the organization's multi-channel, multi-segment marketing campaign
Ensure the internal and external brand is aligned with organization's objectives and execute marketing plan while effectively managing brand and reputational risk
Organize and direct the Marketing Department and ensure that marketing projects are well coordinated and complement the strategic objectives of the organization
Develop policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure efficient and effective marketing operations
Analyze marketing return-on-investment and other related issues, and develop cost‑effective solutions to marketing challenges
Develop and maintain relationships with media contacts, and create positive external and internal brand recognition and image
Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's website(s), SEO, SEM and online analytics platforms
Oversee sponsorship programs to promote branding, community outreach, and nonprofit initiatives
Perform other duties as required and assigned
Experience and Skills
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University, preferably in Business, Marketing, Communications or related subject required
10+ years of progressive experience in planning, managing, and executing multi‑channel, multi‑segment marketing campaigns
Experience in Financial Services is a must, with broker‑dealer experience preferred
Professional presence and ability to develop strong working relationships with executive management
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across various departments and levels of the organization
Strong project management skills, well organized, and ability to meet release dates and deadlines
Highly organized and able to multi‑task and manage multiple projects and competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy or efficiency
Solid research skills - stays informed of current industry trends and advancements to maintain competitive with the industry
Solid leadership and interpersonal skills - with the ability to partner at all levels of the organization
Strong collaboration and team building skills
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills

The reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location. A reasonable estimate of the current hiring range is $175,000- $225,000. Colleagues may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on the colleague's and the firm's performance. Decisions regarding compensation are determined on a case‑by‑case basis and are dependent on a variety of factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
