Site Manager (BESS EPC)
Primoris Renewable Energy seeks a Site Manager to lead battery energy storage system (BESS) construction projects. The manager will coordinate with the client’s project management team, oversee safety, quality, operations, and financial performance, and coach field supervisory personnel.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure safe working conditions, enforce company and regulatory safety procedures, and audit site safety activities to achieve TRIR goals.
Provide leadership and direction to the project team through coordination with trade and general superintendents, hire, promote, coach, discipline, and terminate employees, and schedule labor and equipment resources.
Oversee construction activities to meet or exceed project specifications, quality plan, and project budget, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Coordinate project alignment meetings, teambuilding, and site planning activities, review risk/opportunity matrices, and maintain financial tracking of project costs and cash flow.
Maintain professional relationships with the owner and subcontractors, communicate project status, safety, quality, and budget, and engage stakeholders in achieving project goals.
Support local public relations, hiring, and interviewing as required and perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.
Basic Qualifications
Utility‑Scale BESS Self‑Perform EPC experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; at least seven years of supervisory experience in the construction industry.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
Knowledge of construction equipment, drawing, and safety regulations.
Ability to travel to the project site for the duration of each construction assignment.

Physical Requirements
Comply with client safety requirements and pass a physical exam if required.
Climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work at heights or in confined spaces.
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; use assistance for heavier loads.
Stand or walk for extended periods on uneven surfaces.
Wear respirator and other PPE when required.
Work Location
Industrial construction sites and/or fabrication shops.
