Overview SageSure is looking for a process-driven property claims expert to drive consistency in our systems and ability to support our partners and their needs for claims. This business-minded, technology-savvy person will play a key role in ensuring we have artifacts outlined and able to be implemented whether technology or operational changes. The ideal candidate must be able to understand and clearly articulate the strategic vision while driving the tactical changes needed. As SageSure's Claims team grows, you'll be a key part of ensuring we scale with a business technology focus to drive us into the future. What you'd be doing
Conduct research and analysis in order to understand business needs and problems
Liaise with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze detailed business and system requirements
Partner with our technology teams and external vendors to develop or support the development of appropriate solutions
Creates test scenarios and develops test plans to be used in testing the business applications in order to verify that requirements are incorporated into the system design
Support business in meeting customer's needs through systems support
Help to introduce the required changes to processes and systems
Ensure that changes are smoothly embedded into business operations
Identify gaps requirements and following up with stakeholders to resolve gaps, communicate requirements clearly using a variety of formats (e.g., user stories, acceptance criteria, functional requirements)
Participate working sessions with business and technical teams to ensure business requirements are well understood and delivered upon
Assists with responding to email inquiries received daily
Work with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels and from various parts of the Company and be able to clearly communicate with them to engage, influence and inspire confidence
Assist with user management within multiple systems to include auditing and ensuring accurate permissions and accesses
We're looking for someone who has
1-3 years of BA or product/process ownership with a carrier
3+ years claims experience
Experience in analysis within or outside of a project environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, Smartsheet, and understanding of a claims system
Experience of working with stakeholders at various levels of seniority
Process mapping tools and techniques
Adaptable and willing to learn on the job
Knowledge of the Insurance and Reinsurance markets, or experience in a similar environment
Working knowledge of claims processes and operating models, or experience in a similar environment
Highly Preferred
Property Claims experience to include catastrophe
Claims Management System Software implementation experience
PMI-PBA® certification
Project and Change Management qualifications
Professional designations
HTML/XML experience
Phone system workforce management experience
Strong understanding and experience in application of conditional logic to automate processes
