Production Planner - Mid-Level

Base pay range
$35.00/hr - $40.00/hr
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Supply Chain Management or equivalent is an advantage but not required
Must have at least 3 years of experience in production planning
Clean room experience is a plus
Semiconductor industry experience preferred. Other industries such as medical device/biotech, or retail transferrable
Proficiency in SAP system required
Basic understanding of Bill of Material (BOM) will be advantageous
Some exposure to supplier management will be advantageous
Experience in low-volume high-mix Manufacturing environment is a plus
Responsibilities
Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of materials through the production cycle to determine required materials purchases.
Collaborate from cross‑functional team of engineers, buyers, other planners, material handlers, manufacturing managers as well as escalates issues to appropriate contacts
Obtains materials using engineering and production schedules to maintain inventory at planned levels (i.e., just in time purchases).
Ensures material standards are met and non‑conformances or variances are approved and/or minimized.
Monitors cost and schedule of production orders against build plan.
