Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

Genesis Capital (the “Company”) is one of the largest business purpose lenders in the country, focused on providing commercial real estate financing solutions to real estate developers who buy, renovate, and sell single-family and/or multi-family residential real estate. The Company is a subsidiary of Rithm Capital (parent company), a publicly traded mortgage real estate investment trust.

We are seeking a strategic and meticulous Senior Business Analyst with deep experience in financial services, loan origination process and systems, and enterprise system implementations. This role will be instrumental in driving product enhancements, leading the optimization of business processes, and bridging the gap between stakeholders and technology teams.

Essential Functions

Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

Lead discovery sessions and clearly translate conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements through use of flow charts, work items, and/or other forms of documenting requirements to be used by the implementation teams.

Conduct gap analyses and recommend scalable solutions aligned with business goals.

Support UAT planning, execution, and defect triage.

Lead business analysis for loan origination platforms and related integrations.

Collaborate with business and technology teams during system implementation phases, including configuration, testing, and deployment.

Document and validate end‑to‑end processes for the CRM and loan origination systems.

Monitor platform performance and identify opportunities for optimization with a customer‑centric focus.

Define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics to measure project KPIs.

Coordinate with stakeholders such as Engineers, QA, Trainers to ensure flawless execution, roll out and adoption.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in lending workflows and system design.

Work with project managers and QA teams to create test plans and test scripts.

Work with project managers to follow change control processes to ensure scope and/or budget changes are communicated to and approved by appropriate stakeholders.

Contribute to the product roadmap and execute backlog of projects/enhancements.

Deliver engaging, informative, and well‑organized presentations.

Provide mentorship to other Business Analysts by reviewing deliverables, sharing best practices, and fostering professional development to ensure consistency and quality across projects.

Bachelor’s Degree required

10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, preferably mortgage or lending, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.

Previous experience managing and/or leading others

Proven ability to write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.

Strong understanding of MS Dynamics and/or Salesforce CRM Systems.

Experience with loan origination systems (LOS) such as nCino, Moody’s, Encompass, or similar platforms.

Proven track record in system implementation projects, including requirements gathering, testing, and post‑implementation support.

Pro‑active, self‑starter with high level of organizational ability and attention to detail. Must be able to multi‑task, work successfully under pressure, and effectively manage time and workload.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
