The Workshop LA
Our client, a fast-growing, fully vertical apparel manufacturer with annual sales exceeding $500M, is seeking a Senior Recruiter to join their in-house HR/talent function. This is an onsite role, 5 days per week, at their corporate headquarters (no hybrid at this time). We are representing the client and will be presenting qualified candidates directly to their leadership team.
What You’ll Do
Own full-cycle recruiting
for corporate and creative roles across the business: Design, Technical Design, Product Development, Production/Imports, Planning, Sales/Account Management, Merchandising, Marketing/Digital, and select G&A roles.
Support senior and executive searches
(Director/VP-level) in partnership with HR leadership and the hiring teams; assist with crafting position specs, interview plans, and compensation recommendations.
Build and leverage an existing fashion/apparel network
– proactively source from competitors, brands, private label/importers, and adjacent consumer goods talent pools.
Manage requisitions end-to-end : intake/kick-off with hiring manager, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, feedback collection, and offer process.
Write and post compelling job ads
that reflect brand voice and market positioning.
Maintain talent pipelines
for recurring/evergreen roles (design, production, sales).
Advise hiring managers
on market availability, salary bands, portfolios, and titles.
Light HR support
as needed: reference checks, new-hire paperwork follow up, onboarding coordination, org chart updates, and maintaining accurate employee/recruiting files.
Report on recruiting activity
(time-to-fill, source of hire, open reqs) for leadership.
What We’re Looking For
5–7+ years of recruiting experience,
specifically within fashion/apparel , either in-house at a brand/manufacturer or at an agency supporting those clients.
Demonstrated experience recruiting
for multiple verticals
(design + production + sales/wholesale + marketing).
Comfort recruiting for
high-growth, high-volume environments
where priorities can shift week to week.
An
existing network
of fashion, apparel, and consumer talent—particularly in design, technical design, production/imports, and sales.
Strong understanding of
comp structures
within apparel (hourly vs. salary, OT, bonuses, commission for sales).
Polished communicator who can represent the brand to candidates and provide smart feedback to hiring managers.
Tech-savvy and organized – ATS experience, LinkedIn Recruiter, and standard office tools.
Must be able to work onsite 5 days/week.
