Client Corporate Investment Bank

Role Relationship Manager within the business, responsible for managing a portfolio of 60 clients with 25 proactive daily touchpoints. Lead strategic client management, re‑contracting, and business acquisition to align with Payments profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve firm‑wide business objectives, maintain and grow existing relationships, identify incremental business, and ensure high client satisfaction.

Implement and support ongoing client strategy, coordinating cross‑sell opportunities with Bank partners.

Execute sales/support strategies with other lines of business (Business Bank, Payroll, POS, Card Services) to optimize product and service delivery.

Act as principal point of contact to internal partners and primary contact for client relationship on behalf of Merchant Services.

Apply consultative selling to cultivate payment optimization strategies and grow the business.

Prepare and deliver quarterly business reviews with financial and market analysis to support proposals for expansion.

Participate in external industry conferences to enhance market visibility for the JPMorgan franchise.

Qualifications

8+ years in strategic relationship management, business development, or technology‑related roles.

Proven ability to grow and expand relationships with Fortune 500 caliber clients.

Experience working with executive‑level client stakeholders.

Collaborated across multi‑faceted financial institutions with relationship bankers, product, service, and operations partners.

Exceptional relationship management, presentation, and communication skills.

Preferred

Expertise in specialized industries such as financial institutions, fintech, billers, major and specialty retail, and vertical knowledge within the payments industry.
