About InStyle 21 Now a proud portfolio company of 21CV, InStyle 21 is an established personal care and fragrance brand built on accessibility, quality, and everyday luxury. As we prepare to expand into the celebrity and lifestyle product space, we are seeking talented digital manager to drive growth and position InStyle 21 for the next chapter—one that includes a portfolio of brands ranging across the consumer need spectrum.
Position Overview The Digital Marketing Manager will be our digital market expert will play a hands‑on role in building, executing, and optimizing the digital marketing strategy for InStyle 21. This role combines creative storytelling with analytical rigor and requires a deep understanding of digital commerce - particularly Amazon, direct to consumer selling and other e-commerce platforms.
The ideal candidate brings experience in CPG or beverage marketing (ideally personal care or beauty), fluency across digital marketing channels, and proven success driving brand growth through content, paid media, and online retail performance.
You will collaborate closely with our General Manager, VP of Marketing, external agencies, and cross-functional partners to ensure our digital efforts amplify brand storytelling, accelerate sell‑through, and strengthen our connection to consumers.
Key Responsibilities E-Commerce & Amazon Channel Management
Manage daily operations and optimization of the brand’s Amazon storefront and product listings (A+ content, SEO, imagery, ratings, reviews). Includes directing and overseeing the efforts of our Amazon agency.
Oversight of our website. Includes all aspects (content, promotions, copy, Woo Commerce plug in management, sales tax reporting, etc.) except programming. Includes managing the vendor who does the programming.
Partner with sales and operations teams to ensure inventory, pricing, and promotional alignment.
Analyze and report on Amazon performance, leveraging insights to improve conversion, rankings, and advertising ROI.
Explore additional digital marketplaces and retail partners (e.g., Walmart.com, Target.com) for brand expansion.
Digital Marketing Execution
Plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across paid social, search, display, influencer, and email channels.
Partner with creative and agency teams to develop engaging content that aligns with brand voice and product positioning.
Build and manage content calendars, ensuring consistent brand storytelling across platforms.
Oversee performance tracking, reporting, and optimization of digital marketing spend.
Brand & Content Development
Collaborate with internal teams to bring brand campaigns to life through compelling digital assets, landing pages, and copy.
Translate brand strategy and celebrity partnerships into digital experiences that connect emotionally and drive action.
Support influencer and social collaborations that amplify reach and engagement.
Analytics & Optimization
Use data and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Amazon Brand Analytics, etc.) to monitor KPIs, identify insights, and guide decisions.
Track and report campaign performance to leadership with actionable recommendations.
Continuously test creative, messaging, and targeting strategies to maximize return on ad spend.
People Management
Oversee and direct the efforts of one, fresh out of school, junior professional.
Build their experience, confidence and productivity with meaningful projects and gentle but firm direction for delivery of on time, under budget Social Media programming. Must encourage any/all direct reports to grow professionally.
Candidate Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or similar; experience will be considered in lieu of a specific degree.
5+ years of digital marketing experience in
consumer packaged goods (CPG)
or beverage brands;
personal care, beauty, or fragrance
experience would be a plus.
Proven experience with the creation and execution of a digital marketing plan for a brand.
Demonstrated success
managing Amazon and direct to consumer websites as selling channels,
including content optimization, advertising, and reporting.
Hands‑on experience with digital ad platforms (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Amazon Ads) and email marketing tools.
Ability to manage agencies, and or execute on the work in lieu of specific agency support as well as experience managing or coordinating agency partners and creative resources.
Ability to work strategically, coupled with a willingness to do the day‑to‑day as our team scales.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in marketing analytics and performance dashboards. Ability and willingness to teach others.
Excellent written, visual, and digital communication skills—comfortable working in fast‑paced, entrepreneurial settings.
Willingness to learn about marketing in general.
Willingness to operate in marketing areas outside of this job description when needed.
Preferred:
Experience with celebrity, influencer, or lifestyle‑driven brands.
Working knowledge of Shopify and Woo Commerce.
Understanding of SEO/SEM and digital merchandising best practices.
Passion for fragrance, beauty, and culture‑driven brands.
