Aquatics Lifeguard – Life Time Inc.
Position Summary:
As an Aquatics Lifeguard, you must be safety minded and customer service oriented. You will work in a fast‑paced environment to oversee state‑of‑the‑art indoor and outdoor recreational and lap pools, monitor the pool deck, ensure safety on water slides, and assist with aquatics events such as “Dive in Movies” and “Poolapalooza.”
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Greets and interacts with members.
Rescues swimmers in danger of drowning and administers first aid.
Ensures swimmers are aware of potentially dangerous swim areas and activities.
Keeps the pool area clean and orderly to ensure the safety of members.
Position Requirements
Working toward a high school diploma or GED.
Lifeguard and First Aid certified.
Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods.
Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests about Life Time products and services.
Ability to swim 300 yards/meters without stopping.
Ability to tread water for 1 minute.
Ability to retrieve a 10‑lb diving brick from the bottom of the pool and swim it to the top without stopping.
Ability to routinely bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
Preferred Requirements
Six months of customer service experience.
Pay:
This is an hourly position with wages starting at $17.50 and up to $20.50, based on experience and qualifications.
