Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver in Byhalia, MS. We want the right trucker to join us.

Position Description We offer a competitive weekly pay that includes a guaranteed minimum, mileage, stops, per diem, and touch freight pay. Your weekly pay can be $1,670 or more.

Minimum weekly guarantee: $1,657.64

Solo miles pay: $0.65 per mile (1800 miles per week)

Solo stops pay: $15.00 per stop (10 stops per week)

Per diem: $50.00 per night (4 nights per week)

Touch freight: $0.15 per piece (1000 pieces per week)

Paid training

Over‑the‑road and high‑touch freight experience required

Schedule: Home for resets

Start time: Varies based on HOS

Job Details

Deliver SOLO to: AL, AR, FL, KY, MS, LA, TN, IN, MO, KS

Route: Home for resets

Tractor type: Assigned sleeper unit

Trailer type: dry van

Freight: touch – tires

Requirements

Minimum 21 years of age

Pass a Ryder drug test

Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

Pass a DOT physicalPass a Ryder road test

Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position

Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years

Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions

Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities

Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; maintaining accurate records and logs

Loading/unloading freight or assisting as required by the customer

Performing other duties as assigned
