The Role CAA seeks a Graphic Designer for our in‑house Creative Services department. In this role, they will work directly with the Project Manager and report to the executive lead of the Creative Services Design team, both in Los Angeles. They will research, conceptualize, design, and produce outstanding creative on a wide range of projects including presentation decks, intranet materials, movie screening, party and event invitations, websites, video graphics, ads, logos, branded materials, collateral and foundation designs, Outlook email graphics and email templates for department newsletters (internal and external). The Graphic Designer is also a key part of the team who will design and produce monthly Agency staff meetings, yearly Retreats and special events. They will also work on special projects for the Agency and our clients.

Responsibilities

Use creative judgement to execute designs with the content and materials provided to highlight the project in the best way possible

Work within brand and style guidelines as well as ensure brand consistency for internal and external communications

Review project scopes, materials, links and copy thoroughly with the Project Manager to execute a plan for final materials to be used as a tool to secure business opportunities for clients, colleagues and the agency as a whole

Conceptualize and pitch original ideas to enhance presentations and improve visuals

Responsible for managing individual workload, milestones, deadlines, and asking imperative questions needed to bring projects from concept to completion in partnership with the Project Manager

Receive, digest, and incorporate mood boards, sketches, and direction from the Senior Art Director for certain high‑level projects

Incorporate notes from multiple stakeholders, department heads, executives, and clients on a range of projects

Source photography, illustrations, vectors, patterns, typefaces, and textures via stock resources and other visual content source hubs to incorporate into designs to elevate and give a unique spin to projects

Use Photoshop to enhance images and logos by correcting resolution, composition, cropping, adjusting tone, saturation, brightness, and adding or removing objects and text

Use InDesign to lay out master spreads, slides, and spreads for digital and printed materials

Use Illustrator to create custom vector graphics such as logo designs and illustrations

Brainstorm with creative team on upcoming projects and future opportunities

Bring a unique point of view, style, creative niche, skillsets, and education to each project

Responsible for sharing specific high‑level projects, developing a rapport, and communicating design choices and direction, with colleagues

Deliver high‑quality design work across digital and print formats (branding, marketing collateral, presentations, campaigns, etc.)

Maintain and evolve brand standards while adapting design solutions to different client and project needs

Collaborate with global team members to translate creative briefs into polished deliverables.

Act as the primary point of contact for local clients and partners, representing the Creative Services design department with professionalism and creativity

Build trust‑based relationships by understanding client needs, communicating effectively, and ensuring project alignment

Present creative work clearly and confidently to non‑design audiences

Serve as the on‑the‑ground representative of the Creative Services design team in the satellite office

Collaborate across departments and time zones, ensuring information flows smoothly between the main office and local stakeholders

Support project coordination and ensure deadlines are met despite time zone differences

Experience in a client‑facing or account management role

Background in working remotely or across distributed teams

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, fine arts, visual arts, media or a relevant experience

2+ years of professional experience working in a fast‑paced environment as part of a creative team

Stellar portfolio showcasing past work

Understanding of core design principals and proven exceptional taste level through collaboration with other designers in developing a corporate style guide and recreating templates for branded work

Excellent communication skills including the ability to articulate visioning, creative concepts, and rationale for design decisions

Working knowledge of collaborative design tool platforms (Figma, Miro) and templated design platforms (Campaign Monitor, Stripo, Wordpress, Canva).

Ability to design elevated branding for internal materials and client projects

Highly proficient on Mac

Mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign and an understanding of new technologies and ways to harness them for our work

Mastery of Keynote and PowerPoint

A positive, hard‑working “can‑do” attitude, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Location This person will be based in the Nashville office.

Compensation The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $67,000 - $74,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
