POSITION SUMMARY This position is responsible for the design and execution of engaging collateral and content that tells a brand and product story that elicits an emotional response from our current and future customers. This position will develop thought-out and strategic creative solutions to meet all project and marketing objectives. This position will support brand creative integrity through all Omni channels.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the creative process from concept to completion for assigned seasonal campaign. Works closely with Creative leader to develop concepts and design layouts that adhere to established brand standards.
Develop complex graphics and layouts for all marketing channels and collateral.
Produce and optimize final digital artwork.
Create digital templates.
Partner with marketing services team to oversee retouching for all channels.
Partner with copy team to ensure copy and art are aligned to deliver product and brand stories.
Ensure brands individuality and standards in all marketing channels.
Adhere to the production schedule, PLC timelines and deliverables.
Work collaboratively with cross‑functional partners to ensure that all design solutions meet deadlines, objectives and budget parameters.
Collaborate with Creative Team on presentations.
Stay current on fashion, style, design, popular culture and social trends in the competitive landscape.
Consistently research, identify and share current industry design trends as they relate to the brand.
Serve as a mentor for graphic and production artists.
This position may be found in multiple departments. Some duties may vary.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Graphic Design, or related field required.
5+ years’ experience in Graphic Design in Fashion/Retail required.
Excellent knowledge of print and digital design and production skills.
Excellent mechanical/production skills with expertise in typography, layout and design.
Proficiency in design software: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, etc.), Figma. Animation skills a strong plus.
Proficiency in iWork and Microsoft Office.
Strong knowledge of HTML + CSS principles.
Strong portfolio demonstrating design skills.
Knowledge of web design and video editing preferred.
Knowledge of responsive design best practices and proficiency in Bootstrap and WordPress.
Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
Excellent troubleshooter and written/verbal/visual communicator.
Strong verbal, interpersonal, project management and presentation skills.
Ability to build strong working partnerships.
Flexible and able to adapt to the changing needs of the business.
