Position Overview The Department of Finance at Boise State University invites applications for a full-time Lecturer position beginning in Fall 2026. We seek a dynamic educator with a strong commitment to teaching excellence and student success. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate Finance courses in both face-to-face and asynchronous online formats, contribute to university and community service, and maintain active engagement with the professional Finance community. The standard teaching load is four courses per semester. This position is based on campus, and the selected candidate must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Boise, Idaho area. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
About The Department The Department of Finance serves approximately 400 undergraduate Finance majors and supports both in-person and online MBA programs. The College of Business and Economics is committed to fostering faculty growth and provides robust support for ongoing professional development, including access to individual professional development funds and other resources.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in finance or related discipline from an AACSB-accredited university.
At least five years of relevant experience as a finance/related professional.
Demonstrated track record of successfully teaching face-to-face and/or asynchronous online finance courses at the university level.
Willing and able to sustain involvement with the professional finance community.
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, CFP, etc.).

Evidence of teaching performance such as a summary of teaching evaluations.
