Base pay range: $120,000-150,000
Director of Business Intelligence Lead development and execution of Citadel’s enterprise data and analytics strategy. Transform ad-hoc tools into scalable BI function supporting underwriting, program development, carrier reporting, marketing, and sales performance.
Report to VP of Strategic Business Operations. Guide BI infrastructure from data architecture to analytics delivery. Foster data-driven culture. Manage current IT Manager transition and grow team. Introduce AI-driven tools and automation.
Strategic partner to senior leadership ensuring BI capabilities align with growth goals, revenue strategy, and partner relationships.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Strategic leadership to Business Systems Manager, optimize systems, workflows, integrations.
Supervise and mentor BI staff, performance management, professional growth, cross-functional collaboration.
Drive team development, recruitment to scale resources.
Design and manage enterprise data architecture, integrate SQL, Excel, XML, APIs, system migrations.
Build and maintain scalable BI infrastructure supporting analytics for program development, underwriting, finance, marketing, sales.
Automate and optimize existing manual data workflows (Excel/VBA/SQL).
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of critical financial and carrier reporting (bordereaux).
Collaborate cross-functional teams to provide data insights, performance tracking, strategic business cases.
Drive adoption of AI, machine learning, automation to enhance analytics, forecasting, planning.
Mentor, manage, grow BI team; foster collaborative, innovative, results-oriented culture.
Serve as data strategy advisor during executive-level planning, forecasting, growth initiatives.

Experience and Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, Analytics, or related field; Master’s degree (MBA, MIS, or similar) strongly preferred.
10+ years of experience in data and business intelligence, including at least 5 years in leadership roles.
Proven track record building data infrastructures, automating workflows, delivering impactful BI solutions across departments.
Strong experience transforming manual data processes into automated systems.
Previous experience working in insurance, financial services, or regulated environments preferred.
Ability to manage and prioritize cross-functional projects in fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
