About The Role This role is central to advancing legal operations excellence, blending deep contracting expertise with modern data‑driven and AI‑enabled contract management practices. As part of a high‑impact, fast‑growing legal operations team, you will help manage projects related to driving the intersection of contracting workflows, contracting data strategy, and AI‑driven automation to reimagine how contracts are managed at scale.
You’ll lead transformation by project managing the building and scaling of robust contract operations, which will incorporate process improvements, data architecture, and intelligent tooling. This includes leveraging GenAI to accelerate contract review, obligation extraction, risk scoring, and workflow automation. Partnering closely with Legal, Sales, Finance, and Procurement, you’ll deliver integrated, insight‑driven contracting outcomes that improve efficiency and visibility.
What You’ll Do
Project management: Manage Contract Operations initiatives from inception to launch, including enterprise integrated solutions, data model enhancements, and AI feature deployments. Develop project plans, translate business requirements into system design specifications. Partner with Engineering and Data teams to ensure data integrity across Salesforce, Coupa and CLM.
Technology and systems management: Oversee Uber’s contract lifecycle management (CLM) tool, and related AI features. Evaluate, implement, and optimize CLM and GenAI solutions (e.g., clause extraction, similarity search, automated risk tagging).
Process improvement and optimization: Analyze existing workflows to identify inefficiencies, reengineer current processes, and update operating procedures and best practices. Tasks can include process mapping, automating tasks, and streamlining cross‑functional handoffs.
Data analysis and reporting: Design and maintain data pipelines and dashboards that track contract velocity, SLA adherence, negotiation cycle time, and AI‑assisted review metrics. Partner with analytics teams to build datamarts that connect contract, sales, and financial data for advanced insights.
Collaboration and change management: Act as a liaison between Legal, IT, Finance and Sales Systems to ensure technical alignment and governance. Drive user adoption through training, support, and feedback loops. Develop and execute change plans for AI and system rollouts, ensuring measurable ROI and adoption.
Basic Qualifications
10+ years of experience in legal operations, contract operations, sales operations, or process/technology transformation roles.
3+ years of experience with Salesforce‑contracting process flows including working understanding of Sales Cloud data structures (Accounts, Opportunities, Quotes, Orders).
5+ years of experience with contract lifecycle management processes.
Experience with contract lifecycle management platforms, workflow automation and business process integrations with Salesforce, Coupa etc.
Hands‑on experience implementing or scaling GenA applications in legal or contract workflows (e.g., clause summarization, redline automation).
Experience leading change management initiatives in a large corporate environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong, team‑oriented collaborator, with confidence and flexibility to perform in nimble, rapidly changing and growing environments.
Ability to foster strong relationships across the enterprise for a highly cross‑functional enterprise program.
Superior analytical and legal skills, mature judgment and an innovative and enterprising go‑getter.
Substantive experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts across various contract types.
Experience working within a global organization and managing region‑specific contracting considerations.
Experience with DocuSign is a bonus.

Compensation and Benefits For Chicago, IL‑based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$137,000 per year - USD$152,000 per year. For New York, NY‑based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$152,000 per year - USD$168,500 per year. For San Francisco, CA‑based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$152,000 per year - USD$168,500 per year. For Seattle, WA‑based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$137,000 per year - USD$152,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber’s bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
