We are recruiting a
Senior Project Manager
responsible for managing project teams that deliver annual project revenues between $500,000 and $15,000,000. Projects span multi‑site enterprise levels from pre‑booking to customer acceptance. Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Manage Building Automation projects, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting profit objectives. Participate in pre‑bid reviews and sales‑to‑operations turnover meetings, contributing to estimate accuracy and project layout. Oversee overall correspondence and financial responsibility, including revenue generation, forecasting, billing and profitability, while value‑engineering projects to achieve zero or positive deviation. Prepare and maintain change orders, RFIs and pricing correspondence with clients. Coordinate field activities, developing project plans, schedules, timelines and cost estimates. Engage vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive cost, schedule and delivery of all project‑related equipment and construction services. Ensure quality control, on‑time delivery and budget compliance while exceeding customer expectations. Assist customers with system instructions and enhance their experience with Distech Controls Solutions. Promote continuous improvement across all project delivery activities. Key Performance Deliverables
Meet or exceed profit objectives. Develop project plans in advance to align with customer satisfaction objectives. Maintain current knowledge of all products and services offered. Comply with industry, trade and jurisdictional safety laws, standards and codes. Analyze plans, specifications and contract documents to determine project requirements. Demonstrate remote project execution capabilities. Skills and Minimum Experience Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. At least 8 years of experience managing and engineering projects within the Building Automation System industry. Expertise with Building Automation System tools (Graphics and Programming tools) especially Niagara Framework, LonWorks and BACnet. Management of multi‑site deliveries. Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet and scheduling tools. Excellent business acumen and understanding of construction and project management processes. Experience in performance contracting and energy management is a plus. Knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, power, lighting, lighting controls and electrical industries. Knowledge of building, electrical and mechanical codes, standards and regulations. Knowledge of contract management, scope, terms and conditions review. Ability to travel up to 30% of the time. Valid passport. Valid driver’s license with clean driving record. Own vehicle. Earnings and Benefits
