Job Responsibilities
Plans, schedules, conducts or coordinates the manufacturing engineering tasks for assigned product line program components and assemblies
Responsibilities include conducting detail part producibility reviews; first article proofing of tools, parts, plans or assemblies; shop or vendor liaison; preparation of A/R's for major facilities cost estimating of existing or similar products; development of tooling concepts of a conventional nature
Independently performs most of work assignment. Provide technical solutions to shop floor personnel
Working knowledge of the principles, theories, and concepts of manufacturing engineering, including the accepted shop practices, methods, and techniques relating to tooling, part production, assembly and inspection
Develop solutions to a variety of problems relating to part manufacturing using standard techniques. Many pertinent guides are available in the form of established manufacturing procedures, senior personnel, reports or standard references
Works under limited supervision and follows established procedures. Work may be reviewed for soundness of technical judgment, adequacy and accuracy
Has responsibility for individual parts or subassemblies in support of overall project goals. May Participate in, or lead 6Sigma Projects
Completes tasks and contributes ideas to enhance quality, timeliness, and cost effectiveness of manufacturing effort or project
Minimum Requirements
B.S. or higher in engineering discipline
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role
Experience with 3D CAD modeling, preferably Creo
Experience with manufacturing processes including: milling, turning, grinding, and welding.
Excellent communication, collaborative, and problem solving skills
Proficiency in SFIS, BAAN 5C, and Windchill
Preferred
Six Sigma and Lean process training.
Working experiences with CMM (coordinate measuring machine), NDT (non-destructive testing), solid modeling, and machine CNC control
Knowledge and experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution System)

Summary Pay Range $108,834.00 - $163,252.00
