Vice President, Human Resources Utah First Credit Union is seeking a full‑time, 40‑hour a week Vice President, Human Resources to lead all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, learning and development, compensation and benefits, and compliance. The role is a trusted advisor to the executive team and a strategic partner for growth.

Responsibilities

Partner with leadership to align HR strategy with Utah First's growth plans.

Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design.

Champion a people‑first culture rooted in service, accountability, innovation, and belonging.

Reimagine talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention to meet the needs of a growing organization.

Build leadership development, coaching, career pathing, and learning programs.

Drive employee engagement strategies, ensuring every employee feels connected to the mission.Implement HR technologies, data, and analytics to inform decision‑making and measure success.

Oversee implementation of compensation and total rewards strategy.

Continuously assess and improve HR processes for best‑in‑class employee experience.

Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.

Lead organizational change initiatives with clarity and data‑backed insight.

Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.

Build alignment across functional work areas during growth and transformation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Masters degree or HR certifications (SHRM‑SCP or SPHR) preferred.

10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience in a scaling or transforming organization.

Proven track record of aligning people strategy with business growth and transformation.

Exceptional communication, influence, and relationship building skills.

Deep understanding of modern HR technologies, analytics, and compliance.

Experience in services or credit unions a plus, but not required.

Benefits Competitive salary $140,000–$145,000, excellent benefits including health insurance, 4 weeks Paid Parental Leave, 8 weeks Paid Pregnancy‑Related Medical Leave, 20 PTO days, 12 paid holidays, a 401(k) plan.
