Shift Supervisor – BTI Security

Responsibilities
Supervise all security posts and staff, ensuring the schedule and manning document are followed.
Verify the Security Operations Center (SOC) receives all incident reports for your shift.
Communicate security incidents, performance issues and training needs to the Project Manager.
Maintain security and EMT response coordination and performance monitoring.
Lead, coach and supervise all security officers (Armed, Unarmed, EMT) assigned to your shift.
Present information and answer questions from all levels of internal and external customers.
Minimum Qualifications
U.S. citizen.
Minimum 3 years experience in law enforcement or security, and at least 1 year armed security experience.
High school diploma or GED; AA/AS degree preferable.
Current District of Columbia (DC) SPO license issued by MPD Security Officers Management Branch.
Articulate, with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Customer service‑driven mindset and ability to remain alert up to 12 hours.
Ability to lead armed security officers and provide coaching and performance feedback.
Physical Demands
Frequent and prolonged walking, standing, sitting and stooping up to 12 hours per day, either indoors or outdoors.
Remain alert for up to 12 hours and react quickly to a variety of unexpected and dangerous situations.
